From 7 July 2018 to 17 July 2018 the project “Summer Camp for Children with Oncohaematological Diseases” („Летен лагер за деца с онкохематологични заболявания“) was successfully carried out in the village of Dobarsko, at the Hotel-Tavern Dobarsko. It was organised by the Association “Children with Oncohaematological Diseases” and funded by the [Charitable Foundation of the “International Women’s Club – Sofia”,](https://iwc-sofia.org/) under a donation agreement of 15 March 2018.

For the fourth year in a row, children from all over the country who have been treated at the three clinics in the Republic of Bulgaria enjoyed the incredible nature, had fun and shared their most intimate secrets and dreams.

The camp brought together 35 children from the target group and 7 brothers and sisters. Their emotional comfort and psychological recovery were looked after by 3 leaders, all of them mothers, 1 psychologist, 1 educator and 1 doctor.

As every year, the summer camp for children over 10 became a triumph over pain and limitations, a celebration of friendship and trust.

The Association “Children with Oncohaematological Diseases” expresses its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the ladies of the International Women’s Club – Sofia, whose heartfelt support has, for the third year in a row, given us the opportunity to run a nationwide camp for children over 10 who have overcome cancer and other serious haematological diseases. The event is the only one of its kind and one of the association’s most important activities: thanks to it, the children and young people build their own community, support each other, help each other and share their joy.
