On 16 June 2018 the first edition of the “Team with a Dream” initiative („Отбор с мечта“) took place in Vazrazhdane Park, Sofia. During the sports festival, the ultramarathon runner Krasi Georgiev ran 50 km on a treadmill in 5 hours; over the same time the marathon runner and CrossFit athlete Ivan Dimov achieved his goal of doing 5,000 push-ups, and the two-time world parkour/freerun champion Delyan “Dido” Dimitrov showed lots of tricks to those who wanted to test their skills in the sport. Despite the rain, many followers of their cause joined the competition.

The aim of the “Team with a Dream” initiative is to raise money for charity and to promote social causes through sports challenges and competitions, in broad partnership with the municipality, business, the sports community and all citizens.

We are happy that the Association “Children with Oncohaematological Diseases” is one of its beneficiaries.

Although the first edition of the “Team with a Dream” initiative is now behind us, the donation campaign continues until 26 July 2018 through the fundraising website for charitable causes — PLATFORMATA.
